WELCOME – PLEASE READ THIS IMPORTANT INFORMATION

The Christina Mary Hendrie Trust is able to provide grants to charitable bodies in Scotland and Canada primarily to charities concerned with the young and the elderly, and have been doing so since 1972.

Now, in April 2020, we find ourselves in unprecedented times, and the Trustees have made the decision to temporarily change the usual applications process.  They are able to make decisions about gifting before their next meeting in October, and encourage any charities who have previously been supported by the Trust to get in touch if you need funds before then.

We are keen to support charities working on the frontline with children and young people, and the elderly, who are particularly affected by the Covid—19 crisis (directly or indirectly), and especially those charities with whom we have an existing relationship.  In order to help you concentrate on your work, we ask that instead of completing our online application process, you simply send us a covering letter, explaining your work, the amount you request and the immediate impact that this will have on your charity and on the people you work with, as well as a copy of your most recent accounts.

Someone from the Trust will be in touch with you to discuss your application.

Before sending us a letter, please ensure that you fit our criteria:

You are a Scottish or Canadian charity specialising in work related to veterans, young people, and the elderly.

You have received a donation from The Christina Mary Hendrie Trust in the past.

If you are unsure, or would like further information, please contact The Secretaries
